Photos in the Photo Gallery database will display as thumbnails on the website's Photo page. When the thumbnail is clicked it will take you to the larger photo.
Upload jpeg photos only.When a photo is uploaded using the Photo Gallery database,
the program will automatically create the thumbnail and size the larger photo. The largest size of the large photo will be set to 600 pixels.
All photos need to be assigned to a category in order to display on the website.
Before uploading photos to the database, add a category that you want the photo to display in. Some default categories are already in the database. To change them, click
Edit Categories. Enter in any categories you want to have (separated with commas). The categories will be displayed on the website in the same order that they appear in this list. Click 'Save Changes' to save the categories.
When adding or editing a photo in the database, the available categories will then appear in the drop down box (on the Add New Photo and Edit pages).
To add a photo click
Add New, select a category in the drop down box, and then click the
Browse button to select the jpeg photo on your computer. Enter in a caption or leave blank. (On the website, captions appear under the large photo after the thumbnail is clicked.) Click
Add To Database. Click once. Large images may take several minutes to upload.
