The Additional Images database can be used to upload images that can be pasted into any of the other content databases. This gives you the capability to add an image anywhere on your website.
You can upload jpeg or gif images.
Images are not automatically cropped. So you will need to size the image before uploading it. See the Size Guide for sizes of different areas on the pages.
To upload the image click
Add New. Click the
Browse button to select the image on your computer. Set the Alignment (in most cases this should be left on browser default) then click
Add to Database.
When the upload is complete, a page will appear displaying the
HTML code. (The HTML code can also be displayed later by clicking the View All or searching for the image.) Copy and paste this code into any content database (where you want the image to display on your site).
For example if you want it to display at the bottom of you Home Page, copy the code, then click on the Additional Info database. Click the Home Page button, and paste the code into the
Info at Bottom of Home Page textbox and click Save Changes.
Tip - Float The Image
Floating an image will allow other text to flow around the image. Instead of pasting the image's HTML code directly into a content database, first paste the HTML into the Content Floater. Set it to float left or right and set the margins. Click 'Float Content' and then copy and paste the HTML code into a content database
before the other content that you want to flow around the image. See
Content Floater for more info.
See
How to use Content Databases for more information.
