1) Upload the mp3 file to the 'Additional Files' database. To do this:
Click Additonal Files, then click Add New. Then click the Browse button to select the mp3 on your computer. Leave Transfer mode binary and Permissions 0644. Click Add To Database.
2)After the file uploads a page will display. Copy the code in the box called Address of file - For use on other websites or in the Newsletter
3) Open Notepad (or a text editor on your computer) and paste the code into the first line.
4) Save the file as an m3u file. To do this, from the Notepad menu click Save As. Enter a filename and put .m3u at the end of the filename. The filename should not contain spaces. Select Save as Type All Files. Click Save. Close Notepad.
5)Upload the m3u file to the Addtional Files database. This is done the same way you uploaded the mp3 in step 1.
6) When the m3u file has uploaded copy the code in the box called Address of file - For use on other websites or in the Newsletter.
7) Under Tools in the skinAsite menu click Link Creator.
8) Paste the code you just copied in step 6 into the field called Link Or Address.
Other settings should be... Type Of Link: web page Action When Clicked: display page in same window Name Of Link: Enter the name of the song. this is what will display on your webpage. Select the preferred font, weight, and size.
9 Click Create Link. The HTML Code will be diplayed. Copy this code and paste it into any of the Contents databases. The link will the display on your webpage.
For example you can paste the code into the Music Page - Projects database if you want a song link to display along with a project.
